2013 Young Composers' Competition and Festival

Dan Searl has been chosen as the Keynote Speaker at the 2013 Young Composers' Competition and Festival in Blue Hill, ME on April 20th

Dan Searl is an award winning guitarist and composer. Searl's international performing career has brought his music throughout the east coast and has included performances in NYC, Boston, Montreal, QC, and many other cities.

With strong roots in Jazz, Funk, and Fusion Dan's music cultivates a vast array of influences. In 2012, Searl was selected as a Semi-Finalist in Lee Ritenour’s international Yamaha Six-String Theory Guitar Competition, which showcases the best young Jazz and Fusion players in the world.
